I’m a week into my etsy shop and I’ve yet to have any sales.  While I know starting a new business takes a lot of work and a lot of time to get started, I’m antsy!  I read about a lot of people putting up a Pay It Forward – an item you list for practically free (you have to list for at least the $0.20 listing fee).  I chose to keep my shipping prices so I don’t lose out too much.  I’m hoping that putting up a PIF item will help bring people to my shop and get me my first sale (even though I won’t make anything on it).

I have some other ideas planned – I want to do some sale items this weekend.  Thinking of doing a buy 6 get 6 free rose event.  Hopefully that will also add some traffic my way.  I’ll end up losing money on these, but hey, you have to spend money to make money right?
