This is cute no matter who you are!
This you’ll probably only understand if you’ve seen Inception, and then it’s HILARIOUS!

Kelly I love staying in hotels. Sometimes I have to not think about the fact that I don’t know what’s happened to the mattress or the sheets (I watch a lot of horror movies taking place in motels), but the idea of escaping the day-to-day and staying somewhere different is exciting. Nights away from home are even more adventurous when you’re staying in a swanky hotel that is nothing like you would ever be able to afford in our “real” life. This is definitely an adventurous hotel room.
Conrad Maldives Rangali Island’s unique underwater suite includes aquatic scenery from blue-striped snapper, sting rays, parrot fish and moray eels. A night’s stay will cost you a pretty penny, but what a night it would be! I don’t know that I could sleep knowing I was being watched by big fish but as long as there aren’t any sharks in there I guess it’d be pretty safe.

Kelly We love Simon’s Cat in our house because they are VERY true for owning cats. This new one is a perfect representation of what happens to boxes if left unattended in our house.

Kelly Can’t let a cute kitten video found browsing the internets go unseen.
More to come on the productive front later this week. I ran out to the craft store this evening for a much needed magnet, but now it’s too dark to take pictures of my latest creation.

Kelly Ahhh Star Wars….yeah…I just don’t get it. I had never seen the Star Wars movies (the original trilogy) until my husband made me watch them at the end of my high school years. I didn’t really remember them much, so we’ve recently watched them again. My feeling? Eh..they’re all right, but I just don’t see what all of the fuss is about. But, all the geeks out there go crazy for them and it allows people to be creative.
My husband has recently started a new Skahfee Studios to do some random art work that he enjoys. One area of that are these great movie posters. Of course, he recently finished a trilogy of posters for Star Wars (which is what prompted us to rewatch these movies over the past couple weeks). Check out his facebook page and you’ll soon be able to purchase these and many more on Etsy!

In my daily Google Reader items to browse through, I also found these adorable cupcakes from a Flickr user. I love the Chewy cupcake.

Kelly Still working hard creating over 150 new roses to photograph to revamp the Etsy store and new website. Time for a break. We love LOLcats in our house, also known as Icanhascheezburger. I could spend all day on this site! Here are a few that I just found that made me chuckle today:

Kelly Happy Wednesday!!! Yesterday I managed to paint about 500 flower petals, which only creates 16 roses. Took me about 7 hours. Needless to say I don’t have a whole lot of motivation today, but I’m trying! Here are a few fun videos to get you through the day.
If you like the Old Spice commercials, here’s a rip off for a library. Guys sounds a lot like the Old Spice guy. Not quite as well done, but still pretty good.
A porcupine that acts like a dog. I want one!!
Aaand a turtle that loves to be scratched.

Kelly The last couple days I’ve been working very hard to get my new website created. My husband is building the majority of the site as I don’t know all that computer coding stuff, however, I volunteered to do the shop page as I knew it would be large and time consuming…..which is an understatement. He taught me the essentials of Dreamweaver so that I could create the pop up pages I needed for each product in my shop. After Photoshopping 120 pictures and creating 60 listings I need a break! The husband is going out for much needed sustenance and after a quick food break it’ll be back to the grind of getting this shop page done.
Have you been following the Old Spice craze? If you haven’t, you’ve been living under a rock. The guy from the amazing Old Spice commercials took some time this week to create personal messages to those leaving him comments on facebook and twitter. There are 60+ views up on You Tube and here is one:
And just in case you have no idea what I’m talking about, here is one of the newer commercials. They are amazing – done in one shot and super complicated but very impressive!

Kelly I’m all about wanting to be able to take amazing photos lately. My husband gave me a DSLR camera for Christmas last year, and so far, I’ve basically only used it as a point and shoot camera. I have a book…I haven’t looked at it in months. I barely understand some of the concepts of f-stop and aperture. There is a lot to learn!
Clark Little is an amazing photographer who gets slammed by waves to take these amazing photos. Check out more of his work here, but here are a couple amazing shots of his that I like. Something to strive for!!

Kelly I am a HUGE Winnie the Pooh fan. The first blanket I was brought home in was made by my mom with Pooh fabric. I still have that blanket on my bed today, with new satin edging since the old one was beyond destroyed. My husband got me a classic Eeyore stuffed animal as one of the first gifts he ever gave to me over 14 years ago, it also sleeps in bed with us. I have snowglobes, beanies, and random knick knacks. I cried when my husband got me a very old book of Pooh stories (we LOVE old books). So, when Scott sent me this article today, I got very excited. Look at these Pooh stuffies!!! They are so old and wonderful. I must get to NY to see them in person!!!

These stuffed toy icons all belonged to Christopher Robin when he was a little boy. They have traveled the world but found a permanent home at the Central Children’s Room at the New York City Library in 1987 where they are on display for new generations of children to enjoy
